"Les Fruits de Mel"

We’ve just done Open Studios at Bloc and the Saturday was so busy, with so many people visiting, cramming in to my tiny (shared) studio space, that I seemed to be talking all day and barely drawing breath. Not just talking about my own art and why I do what I do, but speaking to other artists about their work too. It was energising, inspiring and completely exhausting! And having pulled that off, it seemed like a good time to start a blog, to keep the invigoration of the open studios event alive and to record some of the ideas and influences that inform my practice.
