We’ve just done Open Studios at Bloc and the Saturday was so busy, with so many people visiting, cramming in to my tiny (shared) studio space, that I seemed to be talking all day and barely drawing breath. Not just talking about my own art and why I do what I do, but speaking to other artists about their work too. It was energising, inspiring and completely exhausting! And having pulled that off, it seemed like a good time to start a blog, to keep the invigoration of the open studios event alive and to record some of the ideas and influences that inform my practice. And so, if you’re reading this: welcome to my world and thanks for stopping by.
